"The Chucky Saga Continues"
If you have been watching movies in the last thirty years and have a fondness for horror films, chances are you have heard of Chucky, the doll that is possessed by evil forces and wreaks havoc and vengence on those around him.
After the enormous success of "Child's Play" in 1988 producers wisely decided to keep the franchise going with this second installment called appropriately "Child's Play 2". Although Chucky "died" in the first film, he miraculously comes back to life and haunts the young boy that he terrorized in part one. The murder scenes are gruesome, the acting (especially that of Alex Vincent who plays the little boy Andy) and the voice of Chucky played to evil perfection by Brad Dourif, and the story strong, which are all important elements that make "Child's Play 2" a worthy sequel. The film would go on to gross an amazing $36,000,000 at the boxoffice making the film one of the most successful horror films ever.
"Child's Play 2" would spawn "Child's Play 3", "The Bride of Chucky" (my favorite in the Chucky series), and "The Seed of Chucky".
Many have said that the inspiration of Chucky was from the classic television show "The Twilight Zone". In that series way back in 1963 the episode entitled "Living Doll" had a female doll named Talky Tina that was evil who ultimately threatened and killed people. If your a fan of the Chucky films watch that episode: it is regarded by most "Twilight Zone" fans as being the greatest episode in that shows' history.

Sorry Jack, Chucky's back
Just when you think that it's safe to play with the Good Guy dolls again. If you thought it was safe again, you're wrong. Chucky's back and he's about as bad as ever before, trying to find his way to where Andy is living to try to get yet another chance at trying to have a human body yet again, yet there's people that won't believe Andy that there's something about Chucky. Unlike the first movie where Andy lands up there was another `Good Guy' doll named `Tommy' and Andy's foster parents think that when Andy talks about Chucky that he means the other doll. Unfortunately for them it don't end too well for them along with anyone else that thinks otherwise, though that some of the scares seem a bit predictable but that don't mean that this isn't a watchable movie overall. The ending of it was not what I was expecting, though I think everyone that hasn't seen this movie would agree with me on that. Brad Douriff reprised his role as Chucky and brings that feeling to Chucky making him feel really evil. Overall I give it a 3 stars out of 5.

BETTER THAN THE FIRST!
THIS FILM FOLLOWS YOUNG ANDY GOING TO LIVE WITH HIS BRAND-NEW FOSTER PARENTS. BUT, LITTLE DOES HE KNOW, CHUCKY IS BACK, AND READY FOR REVENGE! THIS FILM WAS NOT AT ALL A DISSAPOINTMENT. I FIND IT TO BE BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH CHUCKY. GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS, AND GREAT ACTING. MORE VIOLENCE, HORROR, AND COMEDY THAN THE ORIGINAL. YOU'LL BE ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT, AND ROLLING IN LAUGHTER. MY FAVORITE FILM IN THE SERIES. A MUST BUY. YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED.

Another Childhood Favorite!!!
It was Child's Play 2 that started my love for horror movies. It was on tv when I was about 6 years old, and I loved it! I still love it. It's been two years since Andy Barclay has been rid of Chucky, but the greedy people at Play Pals Toy Company resurrects the original Chucky doll, and brings Chucky back to life. Andy has been placed in the foster care of Phil and Joanne Simpson because his mom has gone crazy. Chucky finds Andy and the nightmare begins again. Andy made friends with the teenage girl that the Simpsons are also looking after. Her name is Kyle, and she is HOT! Soon, Kyle believes Andy about Chucky and she tries to help him. They eventually have an ulimate showdown at the Play Pals Toy Company. If you love horror and Chucky, you'll love CHILD'S PLAY 2!!!
